Meets 3rd Friday @ 5:00 PM

December 2016

To all who participated in the Color Guard Fund Raiser for the .38 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol, we would like to Thank You. The fund raiser was very successful and the winner was drawn on 7 Oct 2016 by the Potentate's Lady. The winner was Tony Salvo, Commander of the VFW Post 8205 in Parker. His organization purchased over 40 tickets from the various members there.
During the period the ticket sales were going on, I had the opportunity to visit many of the Masonic Lodges in the 5th and 6th districts. The reception I received from all of there lodges was especially warming and all were supportive of the fund raiser. In addition, I the opportunity to taste some the best meals in the area. One thing for sure is the lodges do enjoy good food.
Also the Color Guard had the chance to assist in the annual Boat Race held in Lynn Haven. We helped with traffic access and parking during the event. It was a great experience and a lot of fun for all present. The observing of the enthusiasm of the young folks involved was inviting. We look forward to being a supporting unit in future boat races.
We are still in need of new members for the Color Guard unit as we now have 6 active members with only 3 who can carry the flags or rifles at any activity we are called on to support. Please come out and join us so we can show the pride and patriotism we wish to present while representing YOUR SHRINE. Again, thanks for the support of the fund raiser. Tom Smith President Shaddai Shrine Color Guard
