Sponsors are the lifeblood of this event. After all, it is a fund raiser. Although, none of the funds generated by the cardboard boat regatta go directly to our hospitals, the funds are used to maintain the facilities we use to generate hospital-directed funds. As a business, you can write off your sponsorship as a promotional or marketing expense.
A Sponsorship is associated with scholastic-oriented youth-promoting scientific (applied physics) education and development. Now, who would not want to be part of that promotion?
Keep in mind that these young people soon will be adults requiring your services. Do you want them to remember you, or one of your competitors?
